Biostatistics/Statistical Learning
The aim of the course in Biostatistics/Statistical Learning is to provide the students with the tools and the understanding to properly use statistics for analyzing and drawing exhaustive conclusions from data.
During the course, the teacher introduces many concepts of mathematics, statistics, probability and machine learning, and, at the same time, these concepts are linked to biology-related case studies.
This course is part of the master degrees in Quantitative and Computational Biology and in Data Science at the University of Trento (Italy).

Calcolo delle probabilità e statistica matematica
The following links provide material for the course I am teaching assisting that is called Calcolo delle probabilità e statistica matematica. In the part of the course covered by these pages, I introduce R to the students and I show some applications to statistics.
The course introduces the fundamental concepts related to probability and statistics. It is part of the bachelor degree in Mathematics at the University of Trento (Italy).
